Miguel Romero, 45, Clinton was arrested and charged with Operating Motor Vehicle With No Valid License, Permit, or Restricted Driving Permit and an in state warrant. Romero was issued Citations for Driving without a Driver’s License; Operating Vehicle with Suspended Registration Mandatory Insurance; and Speeding 82 mph in a posted 55 mph zone

Colden Earles, 21, Catlin, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.

Morgan Warren, 32, Maroa, was issued a Citation for Speeding (75 mph in a 55 mph zone). Warren was released with no Required Court Appearance.

Jacob Perry, 34, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Speeding (77 mph in a 55 mph zone). Perry was released with no Required Court Appearance.

Juan Martinez, 39, Richmond, TX, was issued a Citation for Speeding (80 mph in a 55 mph zone). Martinez was released with no Required Court Appearance.

06/26/25 Derrick Riley 21, Decatur was charged with possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle (passenger). Riley was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/26/25 Shannon Milton 59, Clinton was arrested on a Dewitt County warrant. Milton was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/26/25 Jade Gustafson 20, Clinton was charged with driving while license suspended. Gustafson was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/26/25 Cody Danison 36, Clinton was arrested on a Dewitt County warrant. Danison was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/27/25 Tundre Harper 40. Decatur was charged with driving while license revoked. Harper was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/28/25 Bryson Mock-Williams 21, Clinton was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and aggravated speeding. Mock-Willliams was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

Mikensey Nelson, 18, Mahomet, was issued a Citation for Speeding 25-34 mph over posted limit (81 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Nelson was released with a Notice to Appear.

Rudolfo Sarnana, 35, Clinton, was arrested and charged with DUI-Alcohol Concentration in Blood or Breath 0.08 or More.  Sarnana was issued Citations for Operation of Motor Vehicle when Registration Suspended for Non-Insurance; and 2 Counts of Driving Under the Influence. 

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at 17:47 on 06/17/25 revealed that Keith Lawson, 52, Bloomington was traveling southbound on U S 51 just north of US Business 51.  Lawson began to merge back into traffic onto the left lane using he right turn light to indicate the merge.  Charles While, 62, Clinton, was traveling southbound on US 51 just north of US Business 51 in the left lane.  While Lawson was attempting to merge, While began to pass and honk the horn to alert Lawson.  While’s driver side mirror collided with Lawson’s passenger side mirror.  While continued to drive unsure if damages were caused.  While and Lawson came to a stop at IL Rt 54 and Cleary Road.  Lawson sustained minor damage to the passenger side mirror.  While did not appear to sustain any damage.  While was issued a Citation for Failure to reduce Speed/Accident.  While was released with no Required Court Appearance.

06/14/25 Kennyth Walczak 20, Decatur was charged with domestic battery. Walczak was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/20/25 Jaime Sanchez-Jimenez was charged with operating a motor vehicle with no valid driver’s license, never issued. Sanchez-Jimenez was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.

06/23/25 Brandon Mitchell 38, Decatur was charged with criminal damage to property, assault and threatening a public official (law enforcement officer) . Mitchell was transported to the Dewitt County Jail and released to corrections.
