HS Baseball: Maroa-Forsyth Rolls Meridian

Maroa-Forsyth scored four first-inning runs and never looked back as the Trojans rolled Meridian 13-3 in non-conference high school baseball action on Monday in Macon. 

Colby Lane was 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Trojans offense. Ace Giles, Camden Trendler, and Cooper Wise drove in two runs. Trendler and Wise had doubles in the victory.

Ian Haynes fired 4 1/3 shutout innings. He struck out five, allowed two hits, and had zero walks. 

Wise allowed three unearned runs in 2 2/3 innings of relief. He struck out three and walked three. 

The Trojans go to 8-4-1 overall. They will travel to Pleasant Plains on Tuesday.
