On 09/22/23 Clinton Police arrested Trevonte A. Moore 20, Decatur for Aggravated Battery. Moore was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections for processing.

On 09/23/23 Clinton Police arrested Gary L. Price 51, Decatur for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Price was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections for processing.

On 09/15/23 Clinton Police investigated an accident in the 900 block E. Washington St. A vehicle driven by Kenneth L. Lane 79, Clinton was eastbound on Washington St when he collided with a parked car owned by Caleb Brewer, Clinton causing Lane’s vehicle to roll onto its drivers side. Lane was extricated and transported for treatment.

Trinity Wallen, 22, Modesto CA, was issued a Citation for Speeding (79 mph in a 65 mph zone).  Wallen was given a Promise to Comply and was released.

Franklin Wheeler, 40, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Possess Lost Credit/Debit Card/FTA.  Wheeler posted the necessary bond and was released.

Logan Ashworth, 19, LeRoy, was issued a Citation for Failure to Reduce Speed Accident.  Ashworth was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

On September 8, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Michael J. Barber, 48, Decatur, IL for the offense of Violation of Bail Bond. Barber was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing.  

On September 10, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Daniel S. Sinkhorn Jr, 25, Clinton, for the offense of Domestic Battery and an active Dewitt County arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Driving While License Suspended. Sinkhorn was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing. 

On September 11, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Arthur S. Pride, 62, Clinton, for the offense of Criminal Trespass to Residence. Pride was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where he was turned over to corrections personnel for processing.

Arrests: 

On September 11, 2023 Clinton Police arrested Autumn N. Tennison, 18, Clinton for the offense of Aggravated Battery. Tennison was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where she was turned over to corrections personnel for processing. A 17 year old juvenile was also taken into custody for Aggravated Battery in regards to this incident and was issued a Notice to Appear in court while being released to a guardian.

On 09/02/23 Clinton Police arrested Trevor G. Goveia 28, Downs for Driving without Lights when required, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. greater than .08 and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Goveia was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 09/02/23 Clinton Police arrested Zachary N. Wetherell 25, Clinton for Retail Theft. Wetherell was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 09/03/23 Clinton Police arrested Arthur S. Pride 62, Clinton for Criminal Trespass to Land. Pride was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.
