Mt. Pulaski easily handled Central A&M 17-3 in a five-inning, run-rule win Wednesday in non-conference high school baseball action in Mt. Pulaski.

Chance Payne doubled twice and drove in three runs while scoring four times for the Hilltoppers. Luke Martin tripled in a 3-for-4 effort and drove in two and scored twice. 

Aaron Volle drove in two runs and got the victory on the bump for Mt. Pulaski. The freshman struck out eight while permitting three unearned runs.

Franklin Wade had two RBIs awhile Landon Smith and Tyler Cross hit doubled for the Hilltoppers. 

Mt. Pulaski is 17-1 overall. They will travel to Springfield this afternoon to take on Springfield High.
