Normal West easily dispatched Danville 16-1 in Big 12 high school baseball action Wednesday in Normal.
Sam DesCarpentrie paced the Wildcats offense finishing 3-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, and five RBIs.
Alex Olson was 1-for-3 with a double, a stolen base, and scored three runs. Jaxson Crancer was 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base, and scored a run. Blake Crancer scored three runs and stole four bases Wednesday.
Sean Jenkins drove in two runs while Chase Knuth, Brady Hart and Ryder Coone drove in runs as well. Hart had two stolen bases for the Wildcats.
Normal West is 12-9 overall and 7-4 in the Big 12. They travel to Danville on Friday.
