Rabies Clinic - Wapella

From 9:00AM to 11:00AM

Rabies Clinic - Wapella (New Maintenance Shed - 710 Walnut Circle) North of Auction House

 

All dogs and cats must be vacinated for rabies and registered with the county.  All dogs and cats at the clinic must be on a leash or in a carrier.  Please bring proof of spay/neuter and prior vaccination records.

 

Schedule of charges:

One or three year rabies vaccination:  $10

One year distember vaccination:  $10

Microchip fee:  $15

Nail Trim:  $5

 

One year registration: $10 (Altererd any age or intact <1 year of age)

One year registration: $20 (Intact over 1 year of age)

Three year registration:  $23 (Altered)

Three year registration:  $55 (Intact)

Family Discovery Day

From 9:30AM to 3:00PM

Join us for Family Discovery Day, March 11, 3601 Buckeye Drive, Springfield. Adults and youth age 12 and above are invited to attend this free day of classes and on-line experiences in searching for and finding their ancestors. Video classes from the February Rootstech Conference sponsored by Family Search in Salt Lake City, Utah will be shown, along with presentations from experienced researchers in the Central Illinois area. If you have ever wondered about the lives of your ancestors or how their experiences have shaped your life, now is a good time to begin your research. Registration is either on-line or at the door, beginning at 9:30 am. Classes continue until 3 pm. A free light lunch will be available. Preregistration at www.lds.org/familydiscoveryday

Citizens for Education

From 12:00PM to 3:00PM

Citizens for Education will be walking and knocking door to door throughout the TCUSD3 community Saturday, March 11 beginning at 12:00 noon. Meet us at Calvary Baptist gym for instructions and walking assignments.

University Women of Christian County Scholarships

Two $1500 scholorships will be offered by the University Women of Chirstian County. Scholarships offered to female residents of Christian County who have completed on year of college work. Deadline for application is April 1, 2017. Applications may be obtained from the TAylorville Public Library, Taylorville office of Lincoln Land Community College and the Greater TAylorville Chamber of Commerce. Free Movie Night Amerigeddon

From 6:30PM to 8:30PM

March 17th House of the Rock Church will have a FREE Movie Night. This month's movie will be AMERIGEDDON. Movie starts at 6:30pm. Address is 314 N. Grant Street Edinburg. FREE popcorn and drinks provided.
